v0.04a [alpha] (Infinite Update)


An infinite build area and an adjustable workspace are the major features of this update. There were also some important bug fixes. Next will be the logic update!

Features:

  • Added an infinite build area.
  • Added an editable workspace grid.
  • Added the ability to Cut/Copy/Paste/Delete/Fill/Paint the contents of the workspace grid.
  • Added fog and an increased view distance.
  • Added keybind config files for both the editor and standalone builds (when they're built).
  • Added an audio toggle button for while inside of edit mode.
  • Added hierarchical frustum culling.

Changes:

  • Upgraded the project file system, though it is back compatible with prior versions.
  • World geometry in now relative to camera position.
  • Made a slight adjustment to the block marker's visuals.
  • Lessened the default background audio volume.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed paint mode so that it only replaces filled blocks.
  • Fixed an issue with the mesh optimizer that caused it to hang up indefinitely occasionally.
  • Fixed a threading bug to do with mesh generation.
  • Fixed an issue where the command recorder didn't reset on creating or opening a new project.
  • Fixed an issue with the input system where keys would get occasionally "stuck."
  • Fixed some transformation issues with gizmos, where there was jitter and improper rotation.
